Bad news for Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso & Victor Moses
It’s hectic days at Stamford Bridge right now.
With less than a month to go in the Premier League transfer window, Chelsea have finally begun making moves.
Maurizio Sarri has replaced Antonio Conte in the dugout. And Sarri has already signed Italian international Jorginho.
But how will Chelsea line-up next season? What other changes can Blues fans expect this summer?
On Wednesday in the Times , Chelsea fans are given a significant update about Sarri’s probable tactics with the Blues.
Under Conte, Chelsea played with wing-backs.
As Fantasy Premier League managers will know, Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses provided plenty attacking returns in 2-17-18 with their maraunding runs down the Chelsea flanks.
But the Times believe that the Spanish and Nigerian internationals will have different roles in 2018-19:
Sarri is expected to disband the wing-back system used by Conte last season, which could impact Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses, neither of whom are considered conventional full backs.
Chelsea fans are worried about the futures of Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois.
According to reports from Sky Sports on Tuesday night, Real Madrid are gearing up for a bid for Chelsea’s Belgian internationals.
At the same time, the Blues continue to be linked with a move for Russian international Aleksandr Golovin.
Juventus defender Daniele Rugani is also tipped to join Chelsea in a 50 million euro deal.
