Thierry Henry & John Terry set to join Aston Villa On Managerial Duties

Huge news for Aston Villa fans. According to the Daily Mail, it’s looking likely that Thierry Henry and John Terry are set to take over the roles of Manager and Assistant Manager.

That news has been broken by the Mail’s Lee Clayton on Sunday.

Neither Arsenal legend Henry nor Chelsea icon Terry have ever been a manager before.

Henry has been working as an assistant coach for the Belgium national team in recent times.

According to the Mail, Henry is being lined up to be the number one at Villa Park and John Terry, who played at centre-half for Villa last season, could be his number two.

Terry isn't the number one preference probably because there’s a problem preventing his Aston Villa appointment.

The Daily Mail have reported the following:

Terry is set to return to Villa Park as Henry’s No2 in a dream line-up for Villa’s hierarchy.
It is believed both interviewed for the post as manager but Henry’s greater experience got him the nod. The duo have been told they are expected to win promotion to the Premier League ‘sooner rather than later’.
It is not known at this stage if Terry will play on or is about to announce his retirement as a player.
